Maybe it will come standard with the "trunk monkey" option to ward off irate GT500 owners.

If anything I would say UNDER HYPED. I have spend countless hours comparing the ZL1 to the competition and boy is it a Legend! To find something to compare to the ZL1 you end up looking at cars costing 80K and up. Now I am talking factory cars, as a car with add ons is anyones guess. The Mustang is truly its closest competition and we see how that turned out in the MotorTrend article. After seeing more pics and reading what life long car lovers have said about it O BOY. I think team Camaro hits the nail on the head when they say just wait till you drive one!! We now know the ZL1 puts its money where its mouth is, but I truly think its going to be the little things that make the ZL1 a LEGEND!

For those who want to go very fast in a straight line - and don't necessarily care about twisties.......our friends at SLP Engineering are building their version of the ZL1 right now - at well over 750HP..........

At "well over 750hp" does it matter? It's crazy power either way.

Considering that at those powers it becomes more and more expensive to gain I'd say it's a fair question.

BUT, you are right. It's just curiosity for me. I cant' buy one of those.

Love SLP but you have to buy the car and then add the SLP upgrade.

The Hamburgers are an awesome family and I had many of their parts on my 99 SS. Great quality stuff.

Does the "L" in ZL1 mean Legend?
