I have a family of 5. If times got tuff and I had to choose between my Yukon XL or Camaro....unfortunately the Camaro would have to go.

I've had either a Suburban or Yukon for about 15 years now. My first one was an '89....the big battle wagon type (sold it after it hit 200k miles for a newer one but it was still alive and kicking). I've loved them all and plan to have one in some form for many years to come.

Can I ask what they gave you for your trade-in? How many miles did it have? I am considering trading my 2011 2SS/RS (I realize yours was a 1SS/RS) for my ZL1 that's on order. I got a black book estimate on mine in the $28-31K range, and I am hoping my dealer will work with me on the trade since i am buying a $60K car at sticker!

The car only had 8500 miles, and they wanted to give me only 24000....I asked him if he at least had some Vaseline and he gave me 27000,lol

Nothin wrong with that my friend. IMO, one camaro is just as awesomely camaro-like as another . Even if you didnt have one, as long as you love them you are most welcome here!!

Sorry to derail
Yup, ugly. Thats one reason y when I traded my '11 LT for my current SS, I hunted for a new '11. I couldve gotten a '12 but hated those steering wheels!
