Got them. Loud, old school muscle, sounds great, but ALOT of drone on LS3 1500-2400 rpm and on freeways. Had to tame mine with resonated x pipe. Sensative ears .

When I decided to go with an Axel back instead of a cat back, this was the first exhaust I looked at. It sounds awesome! That being said, from everything I have read, it drones....a lot. I opted for the Solo w/J-pipes. No drone whatsoever.

I have the single chamber flowmaster mufflers, good price great sound, basically a little deeper growl then a straight muffler delete

the question is about the catback. until now there has been no mention of it being available in a catback. This video gives a part number but you cant even find that on the flowmaster website. What gives?

Looks like a legit commercial, but you are right no mention on their website. I will be watching this closely.

wonder what it would sound like with headers. to me it seems you need a headers to really make this thing roar.

I betcha it sounds much better with headers than the Atak does. Atak is simply obnoxious with headers. Outlaw is pure muscle. I am afraid of what the drone would be like on my L99 if there is drone on a LS3

I personally talked to Flowmaster a couple months back and they had no plans for a cat back for the Outlaw. Perhaps they changed their minds?

Please make it with less drone and make it fit with GM GFX

Here you go, idle with headers, catless mid pipes, outlaw axle back, and cam. http://youtu.be/349t1eQ6h4g I will eventually get a new video taken with more than idle.

It seems like representatives may be given us all different info as in whether or not an outlaw catback will be manufactured. I was told it will be. I have a Flowmaster American Thunder 3" catback with x-pipe. However, I want a straight through muffler design, so I figured I'd have the shop cut my American Thunder (aka 40 series mufflers) mufflers out as weld in the outlaw 15430S mufflers into the catback. Wallah, I have a 3" outlaw catback haha. The mufflers costs me $65 each online from a vendor, as was the eat price I could find. I got my whole catback for just a hair above $600. So, this is a very cheap and effective swap. I also have high flows on my car, and I will have the shop weld in some 5" tips to the pipes as well. This is all hopefullyyyy being done on Monday if the shop isn't too busy. I'll post my outcome and possibly get a video. It should definitely sound bad ass.
