After 20 years with the same employer I was recently laid off and am going to thin out the toy collection...
I have a 2011 Indy pace car in mint condition.
3416 miles
Auto trans.
no scratches,chips,dents ect...
Never driven in the rain or even seen a rain drop.
Purchased new in July.
Northern Calif car.
$45,000.00

I was with the same company for 17 years, perfect record never written up. 6 months before letting me and half the company go, they changed the severance rules. I stayed with them all those years "in case" anything happened, I would be covered. Nope. I had earned 12 months severence, but they changed the rules right before letting me go. I got NOTHING. Not even a two week notice. Just walked in one day, and told to turn in my badge and leave. Company loyalty can kiss my ass from now on. The greedy slime at the top continue to get their 22 million dollar BONUS at the end of the year......

Sad to say, but alot of companies are like that. And it sucks. It's sad that companies are driven by making us dependent on them instead of an equal partnership. I hate it, it's about the only reason why i think being a company man sucks for the little guy. I'm always having to keep my guard up.

BTW.... GOOD LUCK WITH THE SALE!!!! Beautiful car!

That is what I learned after 10 yrs in the private sector. The company demands your loyalty so you have to lie when you are in the interview.

That is why I would join a union in a heartbeat because corporations deserve them.
