Here is my setup that I was quoted.

I was at my local shop here and here what I was quoted
out the door parts and labor, $795.95

Here are some links for the parts being used.

What are you looking to accomplish with this setup? Two 2.25" mufflers? Where do you plan on installing these?

For comparison sake you can buy TSP stainless long tubes & a TSP mail order tune for very similar money. The difference is you get a custom tune & a set of headers that will gain 25+rwhp by themselves. Typically we see next to no power gains from a muffler swap.

The stock exhaust is 2 and 1/2 inch dia.....

I wouldn't choke it down to 2 and 1/4 inch dia.

Plus those mufflers would probably drone really bad.

I would rethink where to spend $800 bucks

Cat back is very easy to install your self, I would pick one and do your own install.

As was mentioned, why would they recommend necking down your 2.5in exhaust to 2.25in? That in itself would cause you to drop HP. If you're looking to save $$, look for a good axleback and install it yourself. Two cuts, slide the pipes together, align the tips, then tighten the bolts. As far as tunes, look for a shop you trust and see what they use. SCT seems to be the tuner of choice and most shops utilize them for their mail order tunes. Not sure how many shops utilize both the Diablo and the SCT.
