Why no drag strip videos yet??

I'm sure quite a few people have taken delivery of their 2010 Camaro's over the last week or so. But yet their are no drag racing videos floating around the internet yet. What gives??

most people will want to break their car in properly before going to the drag strip... there was a video posted last week from a tuner company who did a really crappy run...

Back in July 2006 I had my GT less than a week 640 miles on the ticker did the first oil change on Friday afternoon and hit the track Friday night. In 2005 my buddy took delivery of his new 05 Z51 Vette on a Friday morning and had it on the track Friday night. New cars are pretty much good to go when you drive them off the lot. I want to see what these bad boys can do!!

I don't know much about drag racing, but how many strips are open in April? Some in the south I'm sure, but I bet a lot of them are still closed for the season.

There are plenty of tracks open down in the USA (many are open year round) and even the track at Mission BC was up and running this weekend.

Alot of people are going to fully break the cars in before they start murdering them at the track.

NO new car is just ready to go. Every engine has a break in period. no to mention the heat cycles needed on the transmission gears and rear end.
no breakin period needed=myth

the only current strip videos I can find have already been posted on this site. all in all I've found a couple done by a couple of tuning companies (bad performance by the driver) and the one posted earlier in this thread.
