Well that sounds great then!! If it's not ready soon, then I might still get it. I think my order goes in next week!!

Mole,

Have they started to install the Hurst Shifter. If not, do you know when Hurst installations will commence. I trying to decide if I should cancel the Hurst shifter on my order. Ordered CGM,RS, with Hurst on Approx 2-9-09.

I believe the latest we've heard is 3rd quarter for Hurst availability. If your dealer has allocation and you're up, I would pull it off.

Don't get too excited. The way it's been going, you may get yours before some of us that ordered in October. It's already happening that people have ordered in Feb have their car while we still wait on ours. mine has stagnated at Event 3000-3300 for 6 weeks now.

Mole, is it possible there is a constraint on CGM stripes at the factory? Any other reason we are held just short of production for so long while newer orders are getting built ahead of us? Sorry if this has been asked.

I canceled my STS and my car was accepted for production the next day. I'll just get it later.

That was weeks ago and still not built though

Hi everyone and the infamous MOLE.
I finally finished reading all 43 pages of this thread......whew! It took a while, but I am glad I did. I've learned a lot....to say the least
Since this is my first post on this thread, I would like to say thank you MOLE and all Camaro employees. You see how much people are interested and love their future cars, and I hope this adds to your pride in your job of building GMs modern day "pony" car. We all appreciate you and your work. We can't wait to sit in our new rides....whenever that may be!

THIS BUD's FOR YOU MY FRIENDS!
