Well, I didn't ever get the certificate, but I did go ahead and bite the bullet on a 45th Anniversary Edition today.

I hope this $*#@ eating grin wears off soon....it's freaking out the kids.

I sat on the phone with GM for an hour and was told I wasn't eligible because my previous vehicle ( 2010 Camaro) doesn't qualify. They are targeting specific Makes (Pontiac/Hummer) and specific Models (Equinox/1500/Traverse)...I dont know the actual truth behind these but thats what the rep on the phone with me told me..
