OBX vs. BBK long tube headers
Is it worth the extra 350 for BBK, I know that they have high flow cats, but what exactly do the cats do? Does it give it a deeper sound? Which would sound better with the SLP 2 Loundmouth exhaust in your opinion?

If you don't have emissions then the OBX are the way to go, if you have emissions then you probably should go BBK. No cats will be louder, I don't know by how much, but it will definately be louder and more rasp more likely. You may need the res x pipe to help balance.

I was in the exact same predicament as you. After much research, I noticed that the BBK sound deeper than OBX. This is probably due to the cats but no one really knows. Also, it depends what exhaust your pairing it with. I currently have borla proxs mufflers and asked a person with bbk's and borla proxs mufflers as well how his sounded and he said his sounded better than his currently stock ss. The obx are a little raspier which can be tamed with a resonated x-pipe. It depends what your going for really. As far as the gains, they are all about the same.

With your exhaust, I'd probably say the bbk will sound better or get the obx and make sure to get a resonated x-pipe.

Absolutely if you get the OBX and have MRT's you will want the Magnaflow resonated X pipe (part no. 11386). I know because I just completed this install. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=195877

there's the x pipe and perforated x pipe. perforated x is just a x inside of a muffler with sound deadening material just like your ordinary muffler. you want the perforated x part number 11386 like rcat said.
