If you own a BMW, be practical and use that vehcile to transport kids. A Camaro is not a practical car. This isn't Apollo 13 where you need to use the landing module, built for 2 astronauts to support 3 somehow. I think some men and women forget this is more a purchase of rewarding yourself for hard work and labor more than it is to help your family function smoothly. Wife has a new Camry, I have my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC and the new Camaro is strictly for play...the way it should be. I tried to use my 4th Gen Camaro as a utility vehicle to run my business. I put so many unnecessary miles on it. It's better to think this purchase through thoroughly before you jump in and make an impulse decision. Almost like committing to a dog. Who's going to feed it? Who is going to walk it? Yadda yadda yadda.

I definitely agree about leaving kids at home...j/k.
Naw but Im trading in the Bimmer for the 'Maro...personally I see it as an upgrade (others have called me crazy). I love it but have to go back to my roots (1st car was a '77 'Maro) and Im not impulsively buying this as we do have a Jeep Commander (junk) but if we hit some car shows up I'd like to take my lil princess.
What Ill probably do is buy a booster seat that fits and see if a local upholstery shop can match it with the inferno orange interior. I'd pay extra to have my girl in a lil SS booster seat. But my luck GM wont part with their leather

we are grandparents that drive a vette for daily driver. My rule is if you leave your child leave your car. Both sons have two cars each so no problem. mimi & pa-pa in a new camaro aint life sweet.

You can use a car seat in any car Camaro,or like I did in my Corvette.. as long as its not a rear facing carseat and the airbags have a cutoff switch or seats that sense the weight..I used a carseat since my son was 2 years old,now he is 12...there was no backseat in the Corvette but I am extra, extra careful when he rides with me..I drive slower than normal and pay close attention to what is going on..Most of the places that we drive to we take the Yukon... The backseat is the safest place and I am sure you can find a good carseat that will work in your Camaro..just be very careful with any type of car that your driving when you have precious cargo like our children.Enjoy your new Camaro.....

It's cool man! To each his own! Try not to go too crazy getting the seat to match the car exactly. In another thread, apparently GM had trouble matching the body paint orange with the front bumper cover, so you'd end up driving yourself crazy.

LOL That seat might actually match pretty well depending on how the light hits the car. I guess it isn't too far off the mark unless I'm color blind.

Now just get SS stitched in the back of that seat and you have a winner!

/glad my kids are 18 now and wont be riding with me much longer! I told my son he might be able to sit in the Camaro passenger seat once a week, never more than 5 minutes

Make sure you check out this website before picking up a different booster seat.

With her sky I put a single towel folded once under my youngest kids booster seat and have never had a problem. Those seats have relativly sharp edged plastic under them. Just take caution. Your welcome man. Looks like that orange might need a little more red added to match better. Anytime!
