if i give a workbench# can anyone here tell me what the status is of my car? Was ordered 10/13 but not accepted by GM until 4/3/2008

PM teamlynn or nol300 and ask nicely and they might. Hope you have better luck; I've been at 3000 since 4/8.

I'm 105463 and my dealer says their info shows my car has been shipped and is en route via rail car. But I don't show up on either the VIN or the rail car database. I hope it is indeed heading south.

So, there is no more VIN update? That sucks since my dealer is keeping me in the dark lately. But, May 6th is unveiling day anyway.

you can always call the 1-800 number.....

call the purchasing guy and have him get your workbench info.....

listen... then go to warranty, then tell them you want vehicle order status...
they will want your 6 digit order number.

You have to get that from your dealer. They should not have a problem providing it. And if they do, you've got bigger problems on your plate (like your order not actually being put in the system).

I'm a 1st time poster but an avid camaro5 fan, thought I just had to share these with you all.....
This is in Avon Park, FL......it never showed up on the tracking sites that were posted.....the sticker on the side window says they are taking bids for it and it will be presented at the unveiling on May 6th.
Even though it is a 6 cyl. it is a beauty in person....
Oh BTW, it had a dealer markup of $5,000.00....total sticker price was $33,030.00
(sorry for the quality, only had the phone on me, guess I need to put my camera in the car....LOL)
