Have any of you noticed that when you powershift your car, the motor doesn't flash up like it should? What I mean is, in other stick cars I've owned, here's what has happened on shifts...

I hit 6,000 rpm in first gear, keep my right foot smashed on the gas, hit the clutch and yank back on the shifter. In the time that it takes me to grab 2nd, the motor will flash up to about 6,300 rpm. I don't see this happening in the Camaro. It's like there's some kind of spark cutting happening as soon as you push in the clutch if you are at full throttle. Have any of you guys noticed this as well?

I'm gonna have to do some number crunching...spend more and more on this car now and depreciate it, or just save up and buy something I really want??...something that'll go faster right off the showroom floor.... sorry, it's Japanese, AWD and expensive. Not sure I can have both cars. (and keep the house and wife!! )

We are venders for RPM Transmissions. I can look up prices. Should be able to save you some money from buying direct.

Run a LPE clutch return spring, Tick Performance bleed line to keep things clean, Motul RBF 600 fluid, etc. I haven't heard of anyone making a good replacement for the master cylinder though. Too much or too little fluid flow can play havock on the slave. Too much will blow it apart. Kiesler was all hot about a new system... then it fell to the sidelines. I'm all for a better product, but not worth being the guinea pig at the cost of a Level 6 plus ZR1 Max CX setup. LPE has a setup for torque cut using a load cell shifter for their nitrous car. The literally can't shift the car without it because all the torque won't allow for it. The even went to straight cut gears and face plated gears. Clutch is only used for shifting into 1st gear!
That just sounds sexy..I'd love a shiftless manual. That would be fantastic! Best way to bypass the hydraulics is to not need them. lol
I know Tick is working on a possible slave and master setup, so I'm hoping they get it done. I'm honestly at the point where if no-one finds a way to build an adjustable pedal hydraulic setup, I may just sell the car and step up to a GTR. I'm that pissed off at this GM junk. Might just take a For Sale sign with me to Indy and then fly home!!

I checked out the GTR at Nissan on 104th. pretty nice. Bought Cheri a 370Z Nismo in red. Rev match transmission is trick. Keep the Camaro - way sexier than GTR.

I thought long and hard about faceplating 2nd, 3rd, 4th gear. Perfect shifts everytime. But learning curve for anyone driving it. Expensive though on TR6060.

You'll hafta come over sometime this summer and come for a ride in my 69 Chevelle...I run a Jeffco 4spd for her with a dual-disc McLeod. No clutching to shift - just yank back on the next shifter rod. Makes for one neck-snapping shift when it's behind a 1500 hp 592" BBC! She's a street car, too, so I'm hoping to have her back together in time for a couple Golden Cruises. She should run high 7's at Bandimere this time around (her previous best with the 502" BBC and Weiand 8-71 was 9.29@138 on pump gas).
