Hey IFAST the thin strips go on the top of the fascia just below where the hood mates up. You can see them in place in this picture

I don't have any of it yet, but planning on it.

Wow. I'm sold. I'm definitely going to be doing that. How many hours did it take for you to get that all done?

would anyone have any idea, i placed the order with pace performance on everything except the lighting, bolts, and the right fog bezel (backordered), and drl harness (backordered) earlier today. I just read that the ZL1 productions just went into place does that mean that my order with some parts could become backorder, leaving me searching for several different peaces

Availability of parts in my opinion will slow a little bit due to production and top priority will most likely go to vin cars. However on the bright side if gm is able to make enough parts to keep up with the orders then maybe they will put a few on the shelves time to time. I hope! I am ready for my hood and insert!

Do you think I will receive my complete order if he placed it with GM today! I hate to only get few parts and then things not come for weeks on end, its bad enough I won't have a fog bezel for a while lol

Considering the time to paint.
Front End: 5 hours
Rear End: 9 hours
Spoiler 1 hour

This was the install time it took me with my guys to complete after painting.

Hello All,

Here is a link to our conversion pricing...http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196190. Our conversion is $1228.99 and it does not include the grille at this time since it is not out.

Some kits may be less or people may have mentioned they got the parts for under $1000. This is true, I'm sure, but not all of the actual pieces necessary, such as the lights, the GM hardware, etc. We did not skimp or otherwise cut down on the parts on the conversion. I am a very picky individual and I wanted everything to be exactly like the ZL1 front bumper. I want the GM fasteners, the GM hardware, etc. So when I do the conversion on my car it will be with this list. Our kit consists of 97 part numbers and 126 total pieces.

If you would like to cut out the lights or the GM hardware, that is fine, we have a complete conversion list, dear to us, and we will be happy to remove things off the list for you. If you want to use other lights, no problem or other hardware no problem.

Thanks,
Gene.

P.S. Our kit comes with 97 part numbers with 126 total pieces. This is using all ZL1 lamps and all Genuine GM hardware. We can take out the lights, etc. This is also with all of the brackets that come on the OEM bumper to fenders and plastic pieces riveted to the top of the bumper. If you want to remove a bunch of that to save money and reuse your existing, that is fine, but this is a COMPLETE KIT. This is what we were asked for. We also stated we would remove anything off the list that you wanted!
