Just thought I would let you guys know that Dugan Chevrolet in
Avon, In has a Blue and a Red Jewel SS due in very soon. These are UNSOLD
cars at this point. Don't know how long that will last.

Yeah, I got a call stating the above. I'm going to wait until my lease is up in Feb. but those cars will make two people very happy soon enough.

Hey, I might be wrong about the blue, give them a call with the number in my first post. I'll be there tomorrow anyway, so I can find out for sure if you like.

How come they're coming in unsold? Wouldn't it have been nice to have let the buyer pick the color and options and pre-ordered them?

Or is this some kind of gimmick where they come in and slap a "market adjustment" on them of say $5000?

They only sell at MSRP or less. I got GMS discount. I was there only preorder up until a couple of weeks ago. I ordered in October and NO ONE
else gave them a preorder. So I guess they just ordered a couple.

The way my order is crawling through the process I'm inclined to cancel it and fly out there and pick it up.. the more I see IBM the more I like..

Yes you CAN get GMS on these cars.

Just FYI, in case any of you were interested, I contacted the dealer (and spoke w/ Travis) and here is what I found out:
Car 1: IBM, 2SS, Auto, RS, black leather, white rally stripes, ground effects, 20” polished wheels
Car 2: RJT, 2SS, Man, RS, black leather, black rally stripes, painted engine cover, 20” polished wheels, ground effects
Both cars are selling @ MSRP and they expect them to arrive in approx 4 weeks. They also expect add’l allocation Thursday, meaning you could order whatever you want, and have it in approx 2 months (his expectation, not mine).

For those who aren’t local, the dealership is less than 10 miles from Indianapolis Int’l Airport (and you could probably finagle a pickup).

IF you call and work something out, give him my name (Frederick) and he'll throw a little something my way.
