LSX Challenge is in Bradenton that weekend....gonna be WAY better than Pony Wars...they have a special 5th Gen category, as well as a true street class, car show and more. Gonna be a blast!!!
Hate to miss Pony Wars this year, but having to choose....LSX all the way!!!

I'd love to do Bradenton too, but it's a week out from Carrabelle 1/2-mile and if I broke something, man...what to do, what to do...

I know, I'm torn, Bradenton much farther, I'll already be in Jacksonville for something on Friday... I'll get more passes at pony wars and still trying to dial it in... At least I'll beat some stangs up...

For those of us that drive our cars to the track but use AAA to tow our cars from the track:
![]() ![]() ![]() Bradenton is 240 miles from Jacksonville (Hartley Automotive and EFI Alchemy), Valdosta is only 120 miles from Jacksonville, and Carrabelle is only 145 miles from home or 85 miles from Panama City. ![]() ![]()

No...I know, but I can't plan my events around a possible disaster. I just go with it and pray for the best!

drag strips are a lot less likely to have an incident (in a normal street car anyway) than a road course, so you should be fine. last time at road atlanta made me a believer in trailering your car to a road event. heck, i've driven to & from multiple drag events

Yeah I've "driven to & from multiple drag events" too. Maybe it should be qualified, e.g., this one time years ago at an Indianapolis T&T I beat my coworker's head/cam Mustang with my turbo Eclipse (using forged motor #2, ported/coated head #1, with turbo #3), and during the race detonated the crap out of cylinder #3 at the 660' mark, still coasted ahead for the win (the Ford 5.0 guys really hated that) on 3 cylinders and then later drove 12 miles back home on 3 cylinders. I guess that's better than towing (but really wasn't as motor#2 was trashed and kicked off an even more expensive motor#3, but what else do people do in their garages when racing goes away for 5 months out of the year?!) bit it still qualifies as "driven from a drag event" LOL (God, I hate
Mitsubishis )
