which transmission cooler kit?

I just ordered a converter from FTI for my upcoming heads and cam package on my A6. My question is about an aftermarket cooler for the transmission.

Is an auxillary cooler sufficient, or should I just bypass the factory cooler completely and go with a large aftermarket cooler?
Tha car will have a fairly healthy cam and the converter I ordered should stall around 3600-3800rpm. I don't plan to do much (if any) racing on a dragstrip, just mostly street use.

Also, can anyone recommend a kit that has all of the plumbing, fittings, etc. included for the install of either one of these setups?

Does the front end have to come off to install this cooler? And this completely bypasses the factory cooler, correct?

Yes, the front has to come off and yes it bypasses the factory cooler and YES, it works great. Andy hit a home run with this upgrade for us A6 guys.

Cool..I really didn't want to have to take it off but I dont guess it's that big of a deal in the end..I like the lines on this kit compared to the barbed fittings on some of the cheaper stuff. I'm sure it will seal better and it probably makes for alot cleaner-looking installation...

Big time. I've been running my ADM tranny cooler for a couple of years now... and down into the 10's in the 1/4. It's an A6 life saver!
