I think the general idea is that mustangs sound better kind of always have, even hardcore GM guys will tell you that

No it's not. It's only voided if they can prove that the problem was caused by you taking the car to the track.

agreed a family member works at a ford dealership and the mustangs are great cars (suspension is kinda stiff) and ive had the chance to drive the 2012 gt500 and i love it...even though id tell anyone that my ss was better in every way posible

So you'd rather have about a dozen gauges scattered around the dash, or mounted on the center console like in the Camaro? Looking down towards the floorboard while rapidly accelerating doesn't sound like much fun to me. It looks kinda cool, but isn't very functional.

This is a great feature and really will sell some people on the car. I question the placement of it as people will be distracted by it when looking at 0-60 times...so as they accelerate past 60...they start reading a 2 x 3 inch screen for their time...ummm - bad idea. Why not just have the car text the information to the driver's cell at speed...same distraction. (Yes, I know it will show it all once stopped...but who is going to stop to read it?) But neat information to have. Something we plug a scan tool into the car to read (I believe - never done it!)

Hopefully...nothing! It is a CHEVROLET CAMARO not a Ford...anything! You want to know 0-60 and quarter times...there is an app for that for Android and Ipod. Just saying.

Meh, it's nothing that a smart phone app or iphone app or an aftermarket device can't handle.

Wake me up when you can adjust your suspension, select pre-made tunes, and adjust boost (if applicable) as well as the current features from the same type of interface.

What ever happen to the days when car guys only cared about how fast they could make a car go.

Besides, if Ford has to stoop to this level to try and beat the camaro they must be really worried.

Why are people so bent outta shape over this?
Like it seems anytime anyone else besides chevy does something cool, let's list all the reasons why it really sucks. Trinkets, who needs stupid trinkets. Like the HUD, or ambient light, or gauges so far down you have to completely move your eyes off the road to see.
Do we need them, NO. Are they freaking cool and fun to have. Hell YES.
Did ford invent sensors and a read out? Would I like this in my car, yes.
And its likely way more accurate and safer implemented by the car designer, than using an app on my phone I have to fiddle with.
None of this stuff is new, not even relatively new. It's a natural progression.
Some of you guys here I think are delusional if you think your current camaro resembles anything from the muscle car era other than the shape of the sheet metal.
Some of you are so stuck in the past I have to ask why do you own a 5th gen at all. Why not just go out and get or restore a classic and leave the modern cars to modern people with all our trinkets.

WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING DISPLAY OR VIDEO GAMES INTEGRATED into our SPORTS CARS.

the only people who care about that are the same ones who play with their iphone all day long.
