I heard of this with some aggressive cams .. "Shake & Bake" had to loc-tite all the screws on the car! even loosened a couple of the wife's fillings!

the plastic ecm bracket snaps into the body and the ecm snaps into the bracket. mine fell right out and i tried to snap it back in and it was all loose,, the new bracket is tight,, for now ill keep an eye on it and see if the new one comes loose again

Randy mine did the exact same thing and when I took it back they told me that the tabs were not fully inserted......it took them a little bit and a lot of pressure but finally got it inserted and mine has been good ever since.......It was a PITA for them but they finally got it.

Hmmmm............ I inserted them and applied pressure but I figured they were just wore out. I suppose it's possible I need to apply MORE pressure. I'll check it out.

I've got some large sized zip ties but there is just nowhere to tie it off right there. Even putting ties together it was hard to get around the fuse box.

If I can't get it to snap in with more force I'll call Maureen.

But considering yours and Johns idea of fixing things the 'Bigger Hammer' approach might not be good. LOL

I'll try it now though. *gulp*

I guess if I break a tab I then I was gonna have to buy another one anyway. lol
