Dynoed Sam's car today... I'll let him post about it, I'm sure he will tonight. Love the way that car and Tim's car sounds.

Tim great seeing you as well...

Had a nice little pack of people at the dyno today

I just got my car tuned by Clint @ A.I.R., and I gotta say, I can't get the smile off of my face!!

If ANY of you are in this area, you are doing you and your car a disservice if you don't take your car to him for tuning. This guy is awesome, and a class-act from the word "go". I have nothing but great things to say about the entire experience from start to finish with Clint. From selecting the right combination for my car, to advice while I was installing everything, to taking the time to explain exactly what he was doing as he was tuning the maps on his laptop...every step has been a great experience.

He squeezed almost 450 rwhp outta Sherry tonight. And the fuel curve is beautiful - flat and perfect the whole way across. The drive-ability is superb. The sounds are incredible. She screams. And the dude did this while rockin' a freakin suit!

Clint, thank you so much.

Sam

Every second you try to gain, gets exponentially more expensive. And noone's driving that Lingenfelter car to a cruise, and those guys have DEEP pockets. Guarantee you they have well over the 6 figure mark in that car, and they get to write it all off, do their own labor and have their own machine shop. That's just not reality. Each of us have to pay for their R&D costs when buying from them...especially Garth. ( couldn't resist that one, since he's our resident Lingenfelter "representative")
Speaking of which, I just checked their website. Their 800hp TT package is $67,000 if I include the clutch. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I can personally assemble and build an 800 hp Camaro for half that, and I will put in the 9" rear end with that, which is NOT included in their 67K price...and you'd be pretty stupid to run that combo without a rear-end. I wouldn't warranty it for 3 years, but I'd get it to "run the number". And again, that would be me doing it and FOR me, so no labor costs, just time and wrench throwing! lol
Did Dirty Harry ever get a run in??? Just curious, since that was a big build.

Pretty sure I don't want to spend that kind of money on my car though. If I keep my car, I will add some more power, but I'm not chasing a number.
Wow...$67,000!! That's my GTR right there...'nuf said!
Clint did it for half that...and I didn't lift a finger!

Ace. I love the pics ! Yep I was rockin the suit, Everyone made fun of me at the Dyno because of it.

It was great fun comparing yours and times numbers. You have about 3 to 5 more ft lbs of tq. And he has 3 Hp on you.

Have a good night all.

Yup - it was a great evening!!

Tim's car and my Sherry are pretty evenly matched up. Should be a good race at some point in the future!

Which brings me to the point...it doesn't seem like cold air intakes for our cars make much of a difference at all, and isn't worth the $300-400 that you gotta lay out for one. I mean, $400 for a 3hp gain?? I'd rather spend just another $150 and throw on a 150-shot of giggle gas. That's just me.

Sam
