no change. Still 3000 apparently; it's been accepted in the production cycle, no information when it will be built.
They are getting A LOT of calls, he said.

And giving a lot of NO ANSWERS...

Even Fbodfather said to not bother calling customer service. He said to have the dealer call the DBC; that was the best route in his opinion.

Didn't catch that he said that.
The rep I talked to said pretty much the same thing; they are checking the same system the dealer has so DBC may be the best route.

But as we know now...the DBC was told not to give out any more info except very vague info...That is BS...they could find the car with a click of the mouse!!!!

Why isn't this just a public site? We are willing to put down $30K+ on these vehicles...we all should be able to log on and check the status of our order.

I personally hate calling my dealer (not that I don't like them) but I feel like I'm pestering them. I know the car is coming. Every 3-4 weeks I call them to see where my status is (if I haven't heard from him). I bet some people call every day! I'm only checking the status so I can get my finances in order and figure out how much I'll have for a down payment by the time of delivery.

The site wouldn't need to give personal information.
Log in: Name and Alphanumeric order number.

When you put it in, your event code list comes up and a VIN if available.

Also, it could give you the window sticker details if you have a VIN.

This would save people at the dealerships a lot of headaches (not to mention the people on the other end of that 800 number).

I feel like I am pestering them also. I sure don't want them to have any animosity towards me when I pick up my vehicle.
I am on hold with the 800 number now. I told her I wanted to check an order and she said "is this for a 2010 Camaro?" Must be all they are getting. She said to hold 3-5 minutes after asking me about my dealer and if I had been in contact with them.
