Cool - PM me a price for a Upstate C5 logo like the one in mclark's signature - the red bow tie with upstate C5 inside. Big enough to span the hood. I'm thinking diagonally (about 45 degree angle, with the "U" in upstate near the passenger front of the hood, and the "e" in upstate close to the driver windshield). I assume we are talking vinyl like the window vinyls. Approx. price is close enough for now.

[QUOTE=Flashpoint135;4425404]I'm planning to pick up an extra (stock) hood in the next couple months to play with as a project. I know of one available on long island, but if anyone else has one they want to sell just PM me.

Also, I was thinking it might be cool to have an extra hood with a huge Upstate C5 logo on it to use just for events like the Glen, but I'm not sure how / where to get a logo that big. Stupid idea?[/QUOTE We have a club member that just did a Upstate C 5 for my window of my pu 38 inches. He can make you one ant size you want up to 50 ft long. He has to know how big you want it,before he can give price. I'm ready to help pay and probably the rest of the members would help us.Let me know as soon as possible.

THANKS --- I think 48" would be great. ALSO - if others are going to help pay then I want opinions on the best logo to use and any other feedback from the club. The hood I am looking at buying is also White / mint condition.

***Just to be clear I wasn't asking for the members to help pay, but I obviously won't argue if people want to help with the logo especially since I have no idea how much the logo will cost.

When I was planning on transporting it myself I figured I had 2 options, my wife's trailblazer, either inside or on the roof rack, or I was going to take my hood off my Camaro, drive to Long Island hoodless and put the new hood on normally for the trip back.

Obviously DMGINC you can't mount the hood on your car, so if you don't have a vehicle big enough to transport it I'll just go back to my original plans and make a road trip. I still appreciate the offer to transport, and I also appreciate everyone's else's help with this.
