Looks like the LT gets better tire mileage than the SS, but that is to be expected.

I'm impressed... I never got over about 30k on my 02 V6 Coupe Goodyear Eagles!
I can only hope I get that kind of mileage when my baby is born ...2LT/RS 6 speed manual

I was worried about this too. I have 45k on my original p zero's. I thought they were were only suppose to last like 12k-20k miles. Maybe because 98% of driving is highway??

This is why I love this forum...I've learned so much about my car, even before she's born.

I don't see where all the excitement is coming from...
48.000 miles, at least 25.000 guy was driving on the Baldstones - that tires were due to go long time ago.
Only thing that makes me wonder is that no wires are sticking out from that P zeros.
Zeros, literally.

Wow....that's inspiring to say the least.

Goes to show that if you dont go nuts with the car that these tires can last.

Might wanna put a call in to Perelli while you're at it, maybe they'll give ya a tshirt or something!!

Yup, and they are useless in the snow anyways. I had BF Goodriches and Toyo Proxis as relacement tires on my 2002 SS. The Goodyear Eagle F1 performance tires were actually better in the snow than either of these two.

My P-Zeros did not look at good at 8500 miles. Guess I enjoy my car to much.

Did you do tire rotations during that time?

Testing as in doing burn outs? No testing IMHO means driving as I normally would am I able to take the one and off ramps at 60-70mph and no sliding sure but like I said 98% of my drive is a daily commute from home to work (it used to be 125 miles a day now 32 miles a day)

Ok well maybe a few times when I fisrt got the car but other than the few times in the beginning it's been a daily driver and a car I take to car shows.

It's all in the driving I do not drive like an old lady but I also do not try to burn off the tires either.

Very cool it can be done you just need to be disciplined and it's hard with these cars

Not sure who you are talking to if it's me sorry but maybe you were referring to yourself but at 35, and 40k I still had good tread left I was not even close to having wires sticking out I was not even down to the wear bars on the tires so I was driving on safe tires the car handled as it should in the rain and slick surfaces taking corners at 60 mph the car did not slide the tires were safe I would never put my life of my children's lives in jeopardy by driving on bald tires sorry.

The cost to replace from tire rack would have been $1007 shipped plus $70 to install at the local dealership. I opted to purchase a brand new set of 20" MS wheels and Pzero tires from a forum member for $1050 all I needed was the tires so I am selling the rims for $550.
