Pros of a Manual (this is subjective. Not knocking the auto)
More in tune with the car. Meaning you feel the car more
Rev match downshifting which is soo much fun to do
Can be driving down the street and clutch in-rev- and put back in gear. Not sure if you can do that on auto (I don't know)
More fun. Alot of fun.
No lag because you choose your gear (but you cando this in auto)

Cons
You can't multi task well
Have to wait til you shifted and are at a steady pace before you can drink your coffee
Can't have large cups in cup holders because they block shifting
Honestly. Ive had knee surgery in my left knee for torn ACL MCL and Miniscus and I've driven through hundred of bad traffic jams. The clutch in both the V6 and SS is light and buttery. Very easy to drive
Give me my brothers stang and my knee feels like its going to explode in 10 minutes. Heavy/ hard clutch

And I onno about you guys. V6 or v8. Doesn't matter. But I feel like I have to push my car harder to keep up with traffic because I'm a manually shifting.
Do this with an SS manual vs v6 auto or any combo, doesn't matter about power but it just seems like it sometimes

Yes you can.

Manual Pro: No need for a TCU tune when dialing the car in.

I know I have paddle shifters but I don't like those at all. And the LS3 has more hp...Also my car has 31k miles on it. Should I trade or sell out right? Etc... Help me out guys..

Momma say's there always Gonna be haters

Seriously though its been noted time and time again there are no appreciatable differences ( pro's and cons) between the stock mannys and auto's in top speeds disregardless of the HP ratings. Unless you honestly believe a tired leg defines not being bored...why work harder than smarter.

OP, you should maybe keep a log in your first post.

Summed up so far........

Auto Pros:
More consistent.
Faster when modded equally for the most part.
Multitasking is easy. (coffee, radio and such)
Remote start.
Less fatigue in traffic jams.
No clutch to replace.

Auto Cons:
Joe Dirt and teens don't think it's cool. (while funny, I still consider it valid)lol
More expensive.
You may miss rowing gears at times.
Has to be tuned to get good performance.
L99 is going to have VVT.

Manual Pros:
Fun factor.
More control in the twisties.
No between gear downshift and reengage lag.
No need for TCU tune. Engine only.
No VVT.

Manual Cons:
Multitasking suffers a bit.
Coffee in traffic sucks.
Shifting can't be blocked. (large cup, woman, etc.)
Traffic Jams SUCK.
Clutch wear.

it's like the vette vs camaro debate

I can fit 4 hookers in my camaro, you can only fit 1 in a vette.

In a manual you can't have a hooker party. With my auto I can have my hooker party while I drive and simultaneously make a music video about it.
