Yeh, good ole shipping $ handling. They got us last year at mid-Ohio for $7, but tickets were $30.

See post #1 under track update. In addition, offer expires June 15th. Last year was different because this wasn't set up until about 2 weeks before the race weekend.

Mark, I posted in the other thread but I'll let you know here as well. Karen and I are set to join you for this weekend. Hotel is booked and I'll be ordering the tickets as soon as the office is open. Thanks for your work in organizing this. Should be fun.

I'm hoping there are some good vantage points for shooting the action around the track as well as in the paddock. Got a new lens to test out.

Sweet, we should have the run of the place as we did last year so you should be able to get some good shots. Looking forward to meeting you guys

Ok...that's weird.

I just called the track at the number in the poster and the lady there took all my information, put me on hold a couple of times, said she couldn't find anything about "car club group" and that she couldn't help me. She said I had to call Mike at 607-535-2486. He is the "group ticket agent". Of course, Mike wasn't there, so I left a detailed message explaining everything again and providing both my telephone # and email.

That is weird. A couple of people have purchased tickets with no issues. Probably just takes one person covering the phone while someone goes to take a leak that causes this. Mike is the guy, so it will get straightened out. Sorry about that.

A very friendly Mike from ICS called me back this morning. Tickets are purchased.

He was very apologetic and assures me all the staff are now up to speed on the group purchase.
