Stainless Works Retro Chambered

My buddy has a '02 Mustang GT with Flowmasters and thinks it's the loudest thing in the world. I'm going to be getting Stainless Works Retro Chamberd cat-back when I get the Camaro SS and he says it wont be as loud as his. I don't want to start arguing until I have it, but how much louder should mine be?

This is his car..

Well the cats are very restrictive on our cars. I have the retro chambered on my car and it sounds great but its definatly not loud at idle but when u put some long tubes with no cats it will be very loud ... just how I like it

If its too loud your too old haha

I've got the SW retro but I ditched the stock cats for Solo high flows and it still isn't very loud at idle. You can hear it idle from inside just about anyones house I've been at if its parked right outside but it has to be very quiet inside. I would never say it is loud at idle but at WOT it can be.

until you get headers nothing is going to be that loud i would bet my camaro is about 3 times louder than your friends mustang. but this exhaust is a good start.

Well said, LT headers make a big difference. I had the retro on mine but changed mufflers, believe it or not, it was too loud.

So here is what it sounds like with S/W 2" LT Headers, 3" exhaust, oh and 416ci instead of 376ci, blower cam, etc., etc.....
