I'm not sure were bumleb got her camaro from but she is close to Hanford and has an ss. She has pics of it on here somewhere. But u will have to ask her when and where she got it.

I actually spoke to this dealer last week as the black 2SS showed up on the Chevy inventory search. It wasn't there and he was going to call me as soon as it showed up (which he is was pretty would be before the weekend). Since I was going to be in the area (2 hour drive for me) during that time I was going to go see it. Now two things stand out for me 1) $10K over MSRP -- glad I didn't waste the time going there and 2) I'm wondering if this was a pre-order that he was trying to market to me. I think I'll take a pass with this dealership. But definitely agree with was definitely NOT the first Camaro (2ss or otherwise) delivered in CA.

In any case, I hope you were fast enough on your feet to ask the owner to take you for a spin once he picks up his car?!!! If that does happen, be sure to bring your cameras with you.

It's so dissappointing to see dealers do this. But you know what, they'll continue to do it cause they'll keep finding idiots who are willing to pay $10,000 over sticker.

no no, i didnt take it like that at all. its all good!

but actually the owner made some agreement with the dealer to keep it in the showroom for a few more days. probably just to let people like me see it, and fall in love with it again. haha

The good news is for those that pay MSRP or less, you got a great deal on a car that a lot of people think is worth a lot more than you paid for it.

Got to jump in on this one. For all who have questions.....

I ordered my 2SS Rally Yellow on October 13th, 2008. She arrived Monday April 20th, 2009 to Keller Motors in Hanford, CA.

I'm not sure if I was the first SS in California, I've heard I was but I'm not positive. I'm sure others were delivered down south, major population in Southern California. I'm in the armpit of Cali, that would be super cool if I was the first. I'd get a kick out of that.

A pic of my baby, pre delivery. I'm waiting to get her back so that I can hold a photo shoot.

I think that black one is a 2SS, just not with the RS package. But you're right, $47,000 ?!!!

Mine may not be the first one in California, but at least I'm getting it at MSRP.

Yeah - I heard about the one in EG too and that the person paid $10K over sticker. Too bad GM can't do something about this. I now know I won't be going to that dealer. I can't say I'm suprised though.
