No..it isn't at the dealer...it was sold in '05 and the guy still has it.
There are a lot of good articles in HOT ROD about building a 5.3...gobs of power can be had and they are about bullet proof.

yeah, the 5.3's a pretty stout engine to work with

All ls style engines so far have been good to me. Just want a fun truck this time and don't want to mod my tow slave...

As you know LS engines are hard to beat. The article in HOT ROD was one of those that went several issues and in stages. It was a good read. Wit the 4.8 you can only get the 4sp tranny. With the 5.3 the 6sp. The 6sp is wirth the difference.

Looks like I need to find a shop with an UP Dyno. If anybody finds out more on either of these shops (Adams or S&S) please get with me as I'd really like to bring Chuck out to help have more fun with the Camaros.
