Wow. If only Savini was as honest and willing to step up.
So far I am even more sure that I will go with Forgeline than before. Sucks this happened but you are in good hands. And the mistake was made from a desire to make you happy. ![]() Lemons and lemonade. |

Exactly, they wanted to get me my wheels as it had been a while as it was. That is very good customer service and shows a concern on Forgeline's part. Good on em ![]() Perry at PTS has been outstanding thru all of this also! Thanks Perry

![]() On a not so happy note, check out the pic....gotta box up my new wheels and start the wait all over again. At least they will be right. I removed the left rear and rolled it a few feet and what do i hear? What i think is the TPMS that already came loose from the rigged up bracket

Sawyer, you made the right choice. Which ones are you going with and are you going to 19" for the performance gain. Forgeline received my wheels on wed and are completely going over them to make them brand new since they were a little scratched up from mounting and dismounting. they will ship out mon or tues so i should have them back by next weekend.
The 1 1/2 days i had them, i sure miss them, put the OE wheels and tires back on and ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() but its fun. But it is a lot funner when the tires and wheels stick and you go like a damn rocket.

Definitely worth saving up for. Mine are 19" and resulted in an effective gear ratio of 3.77 vs the 3.45 for the M6. The car is quite a bit more responsive to the throttle even with 715 RWHP. But the centri blowers tend to make more Tq with rpm so the 3.77 helps. Handling is at least 33% better. Man, i wish my Forgelines and Bridgestones would hurry up and get back.

I'm really not that slow
but I am missing something here.My Forgeline GA3's look alot like your wheels but they are 20's. I just bought new GM TPMS rubber valve stems and installed the sensors just like the stock setup...no issues. Was this other method something you requested or is required with your wheel choice or what? I noticed your inner hoop had the extra hole for that, mine did not Just curious

Mine are on the outside hoop just like a stock wheel. So the OP wanted the stem to be hiden...I did not know that was an option. Wouldn't that be a more difficult to check pressure and air up? Am I still missing something here?...my Car is lowered as well

The problem on mine was that Forgeline went with a different inner rim shell manufacturer and the tpms holes were drilled too far out and on the stepped portion of the rim. They did this to try to get me my wheels since it had been almost 3 months since i placed my order. This made is so the bracket that Forgeline installs to have the entire TPMS installed internally would not work. My set up had and additional valve stem protruding thru this hole and was too long to clear the suspension parts.
Discount tire here in town fabbed up a bracket for the tpms and inserted a short rubber valve stem thru the old tpms hole. It would clear the suspension but Discount tire did not like it and said it would cause problems. Which it did. Bottom line, my wheels are at Forgeline and they are taking care of it. Should have them back middle of the week. NOt a single penny out of my pocket. Quote:
