I just ran your VIN on Order Workbench, and the site says it doesn't exist.

Well that is new intresting news. Maybe there is some truth to the story. If it is true then this really is great news because it means that GM is serious about quality on these cars. I do think though that GM should have automatically handled this internally and processed you a new car ASAP and had it delivered.

I also heard from my Dealer yesterday That My SS GCO Camaro Placed In Oct. 2008 #1429 will not be released, and diverted to Millford Proving Grounds
for further quality assessements, They would not reveal what the problem is
and advised to place another order. My Dealer in SW FL has a 2010 Camaro
Launch on May 6th and my car was to be on display at that time. Just had
to place a new order for another car and stated they would expedite the
replacement order. SHOW ME

I guarantee they will never tell you anthing more then you know now, they tried to fix it for a month and when they couldn't they said it didn't pass QC. I would like to see it though, it probably has wheel weight's all over it.

I think its better that they are giving a different car. And to all you conspiracy theorists out there, get a hobbie

You will get a car that you want and can enjoy and not one that you will have to take back to the shop 50 zillion times.

I have another question. Has anyone heard of any car manufacturer doing this extra QC check?

Mine was the same...I bought the '10 Mustang on Monday...Despite being less powerful, I love the car. All my issues with the camaro interior have been answered with the mustang. Not to mention that with the money i saved, i"ll be able to add a Rousch SuperCharger in the near future to make up the power gap. FYI, handling qualities on the Mustang are the best of all three cars...(Camaro, challenger, and mustang). I will always love this Camaro but circumstances and constant delays coupled with Fords endurance through this financial crisis moved me in another direction. I hope everyone enjoys their Camaros and can't wait to put the 2010 Muscle Cars next to each other. I'm so glad were still able to buy V8 Muscle with Obama in the House
