If this is accurate, there shouldnt be a lsx stroker making ne thing less than 600rwhp. Did the car get a bone stock baseline? If so was it on the same dyno and what did it put down?

Why is that? Their are 100's of ways to build a motor...either it being an ls3 or a lsx stroker. Mild stroker builds make around 520rwhp...and I have seen them north of 600rwhp. And as we all know dynos can vary quite a bit.

Many of those who get them do so for the torque. A 520 rwhp stroker will have a much broader torque curve and more overall torque than a comparable 520rwhp ls3. And obviously the potential to make around 600rwhp if they choose to go that route with the build.

This is like the 3rd 53x rwhp heads and cam g6x3 ls3 I have seen appear on this forum alone. Not like a fluke or anything by any means.

About the baseline. Yes if you look at the graph the car dynoed in the 42x rwhp range with bolt ons on the same dyno. This is the norm for a bolt on ls3...so in that respect the dyno is not reading high.

Those are some great #'s!!! My Maggie basic intall with 5.5lbs boost through shorties, stock cats and an SLP Hush Mouth exhaust pulled 520rwhp and 488rwtq so you guys definately pulled it off!

I am hoping to have some additional G6X3 numbers myself by the end of the month. We got some damn snow just recently though. As soon as I feel it is safe to make the drive to Livernois I'll have some results.

If I make less than 500rwhp I'll be stunned. Pretty much maxed out my car NA...even got an electric water pump lol.

Awesome numbers question about the heads and intake. With a more mild street cam would 500 at the wheels be out of the question with the addition of the heads, intake, and throttle body? Going to run a very mild 217/228 cam, I don't plan on making big power with it, but it should be awesome on the street. I was thinking down the road going with good set of heads and ported intake and closing in on 500 rwhp.

What you're considering ("Bad70...") is close to my setup. Dyno'd 504 RWHP a couple of weeks ago. Currently considering a wilder cam (G6X3/4) to get more but am quite happy right where I sit.

This car is no longer a stock Ls3 anything. The motor lives in a 07 TBSS, strong as ever.

Sig Check.

Remember when you increase stroke, it almost always does little to nothing for HP...but it does make a HUGE change in torque.

Given NO OTHER CHANGES, a stroker combo will pick up 15-20 hp and 45-55 tq at the rear wheels. Main reason is that you are increasing the lever arm on the crankshaft, just like using a longer arm ratchet...more torque, but the power is still the same.
