Pretty sure it was Renault, but the company in Texas making new ones will do a little better, but it's still no screamer and decades behind other stuff.

It was a conglomerate of Renault, Volvo and another company. They're making hybrid or electric ones on the original chassis that were not built (at least I read that somewhere). I've seen a Bricklin around Tucson too.

there is about 50 of them in the town next to me outside lined up in a business parking lot. some kind of car shop, stopped to look at them and the shelby's they had through the glass window one night.
