I didn't tell my kids I was getting a new car until the day I got it. I picked them up from school in my bright yellow Camaro. As soon as we got out of the school, the kids saw it and started with the "Wow, look at that car!". My 6 yr old son instantly said that was the car he was going to get when he was older. While they were scanning the parking lot for our car, I remotely started the Camaro. It was like a light went on in their little heads. My son got the permagrin and then started to cry. I asked him what was wrong. He said "Dad, I'm so happy. This is the best day of my life!". THAT made my day.

From a fellow Camaro owner when I took delivery of my dream car...this woman, in the showroom actually said: "EWWW...It's not that stupid antifreeze color is it? YUCK!" (car was under a black cover)

She was one of the caddiest persons I have ever had the displeasure of being around. She made other stupid comments to ruin my delivery day - well she tried to, anyway. I know the SGM is not everyone's favorite color...but why make a comment to a person taking delivery?

I don't understand how people can confuse your cars with Mustangs. There are 2 gaudy, gold bow ties front AND rear, and it says Camaro on both fenders.

I got the "nice Mustang" but was at a car repair convention that was closed to the public so you would think they would know better...

...wow you must owe a bunch of money on this car. Actually it's paid for...

I get the nice "red" interior all the time. On both cars

Does it get good gas mileage...We'll I'm not sure since I drive it like I stole it! Not really why I purchased it!

WOW...I didn't know girls could drive a stick. REALLY...girl! ha ha

My 2 favorite:

I don't usually like white cars, but it looks really good on that.
and
It's great to see a car with character!

none that were really ignorant. I get a lot of questions on my license plate which reads "albeit in different spelling" but I love my 55.... they say the S wasnt available? Actually the plate is off my 55 chevy, I kept it after selling my baby to put on the next one... which ended up being a camaro sad story has some good right

When I was getting my car washed at a "high quality" car wash. One of the employees walks in and say, "Are you the owner of the Mustang owner out there?" I Say its a Camaro and asked what he needed. He replies with "Would you like us to fixed the cracks in your front window, we even have a deal for 100 dollars" I respond nicely and say no thank you I don't have any cracks in my windshield."Then he cracks off on me and says " Look man, Yea you do" (While pointing at my car) and they will get worse" I respond, once more and say " Look man, I know how to take care of my car and If anything is going to get worse it is my anger, and your job stability." (he quickly runs off).

Wasn't happy with the quality of the car when it was finished, person who finished didn't speak a word of english1!!

[QUOTE=derklug;4479731]When the Camaro returned, I was parked next to one talking to the owner when a man came up and asked what the difference was between a Mustang GT and a Mustang SS. i think this is the best one i have heard
