Quote:
1. Cutting required in both systems. 2. When you install lambo doors, you don't wanna go back to normal bc they are comfy. So no reason to worry about cutting. 3. Have em over a year now, still no probs. 4. Look sick as hell! 5. Takes about 10-12 hours in DIY mode! 6. LSD >VDI, LSD is the best aftermarket source for lambo doors, but a bit pricey....

Yeah def get what you pay for why ill prob go with the LSD. The LSD kit make the doors go up easy? Does it feel heavy when lifiting them up
And can you open the doors up regularly and vertically? |

Usually not. At least I don't know anyone claiming it.
The door is pretty heavy, but the HYPU's are pretty strong so its very easy. I have to admit: u need some time to get used to it but its funny

I have the VDI kit placed and dont think the doors are hard at all to get up. Not sure what the LSD cost but got a deal here for the VDI kit for 1000 and had them installed for around $500. You do have to cut fenders, but not sure what the big deal is with that. I cut them anyway for my 3D carbon vents. Will be posting better pics this weekend. I plan on having my camaro for many years to come. Had it for 2 1/2 years now with only 13000 miles if that tells you anything

I had the Vertical Doors Inc. kit installed last Friday, and love it so far. It works great, and they aligned it well. They cut the fenders really clean as well and that's key to a nice looking ride once the doors go vertical, especially for car shows. I just started a thread with a video of my car and the Vertical Doors Inc. owners car (C6 Corvette). This video will show you the visual comparison of the vertical doors (on my car) versus ZLR doors (on his car).
Here's a link to the thread: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=203308 |
