Okay i just finish buying some material to see if i can add some ABL lights to my doors and front dash trim piece but i had a question about the connections on the driver side by the fuze box. Is this connector powered for a ls or is it just a dead connector?

and if its dead how can i wire this together to make it work for a LS if anyone had done it before?

It's a dead connector. You want to tap into the wires going to the window switch

Also, search their are many DIYs on how to do this

You dont have one in the fuss box, it only came in 2010 cars and only till vin 916000

ok just wanted to know before i connect anything and then wonder why nothing is working, so just tap into the window switch and the lights should stay on and dim once i get out the car? i tried looking for a LS tread on how to do this but no luck. Can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

Yellow wire for the power and black for ground.
