The BA radio sounds better, front center channel not overpowering. I can finally crank up the BA and have decent sound.

I really like the back up camera and warning chimes combined.

Dash looks nice.

Painted antenna looks nice.

No front strut clunk sounds nice.

Trans shifts a lot smoother, must have improved the synchros.

I think I like the '10 steering wheel better, this one feels small and oddly
off center.

The ambient light piping on the door panels seems better. I had IOM, and could only see the door panel light piping if the dash lights were turned way up making the radio way too bright. Now, I have a black interior with the blue piping, and it lights up nicely even when the dash is dimmed.

No gurgling noises in the '12 heater core.

Power pass seat - very nice.

HUD is nice.

Overall I love it!

What's different on the dash?

Ehhh... I'm not a big fan of the HUD on the 12's and I like my steering wheel better than the 12's.

Do what you want, but if it were me...I'd just keep adding little things to my 2010 to make it more "my own" and perform better.

Then maybe go for the next gen in 2014 or 2015....in fact that might be how I do it....assuming I have the money for it and kids aren't taking it all lol.

Above the radio and glove box is a soft trim area with white stitching. The soft trim and stitching improves the appearance, was kind of a too much plastic look in previous years.

I dont think its worth it due to eating the cost of a trade-in and another round of depreciation on the new car. That being said, the 2010 suspension is actually pretty good IMO. Good enough that most people would never notice the difference. I hear a 'clunk' in the front if I take a high speed right turn (like 30+ MPH turn) but it still sticks just fine.

Help me out guys, this is my take on the trade:

2012 Steering wheel - ugly
2012 Dash - Looks great!
2012 Onstar app - avail for 2011 as well.
2012 Camera - easy mod ~$500
2012 Power Seat(s) - Easy mod ~$300
2012 FE3/FE4 Susp - still not as good as aftermarket. Most will still upgrade.
2012 wheels - matter of opinion
2012 HUD - Didnt know anything changed, I'm clueless on this...

To me most of the upgrades for 2012 are asthetics. There are slight convenience/performance improvements, but nothing noteworthy IMO. Not worth the kick in the gut your gonna take on your trade in.

Another thread a few weeks ago said the next gen will be a 2016 available summer or fall of 2015.
