Yup -- the Disciples have told us in no uncertain terms (my blisters from that heat are still healing...) that we need a power passenger seat - and that we need climate control and that we need memory seats -- all as options.......

We hope that those who are 'not happy' with the interior will spend some time behind the wheel - we think, for the most part, you'll change your minds......not everyone, but a very large percentage.

Not getting the big deal out of a power passenger seat. Next up bitching bout it moves back n forth to slow....GTO anyone?

Climate control? I assume you mean electronic duel zone. Very overrated and expensive as hell to fix.

Memory seats? Yes and I would assume a simple addtion.......

Not sure on the materials, have not set in one yet.......I like most of the interior except the dash........I hate the fact that the tach is on the wrong side (If I can swing one next year, that will be my first mod) and am nervous bout the steering column, it pics the wheel appears to sit way to high and has that lame / down adjustment from overseas......... and the rest of the dash is just ugly.

can't wait to see on in person thanks to the worthless un American puke communist f**K heads in DC I am afraid this will be the last run of this type of car in mass production........very sad.........

You know when I was growing up we had to get up to change the channel and volume on the tv.

And in my house dad did had 2 remote controls, my sister and myself. He would say change the channel and turn it up or turn it down. And if we fell asleep in front of the TV a shoe would hit us in the back of the head.

Moral is we can live without alot we take for granted, we should just sit back and enjoy the power of Thor's siblings.

It's about 5 years to late and looks on par with the 2005 Mustang.

what in gods name is that ? looks like a 89 civic dash witha screen glued to it.

Yeah. Sorry, but that looks gross to me.

My only gripe with the interior is that I kind of wish that the dash cluster pivoted with the steering wheel, like it does in my G35. I know, I know... wishful thinking, but it would have been nice.

Regardless, I love the interior.

Well I for one absolutely love everything about this car. Yeah, I've only had it less than a week, but I have spent alot of time with the car in that week.
When I get in, I just smile from ear to ear. I love what you guys have done, and I am so thankful each time I get in. I will have this car forever.

.......someone brought this up earlier in the thread -- about "soft" interior panels -

We KNOW that a fair number of Camaro owners will purchase this car -- and keep it -- the car MAY be a 'daily driver'' -- but at some point, a number of these cars will be put in the garage at some point and used on weekends and such.........

Therefore- we know that the interior materials MUST last. There ARE some parts that are going to wear - namely the leather on the seats -- and the seat bolsters no matter whether cloth or leather -

......but it's simply unacceptable to have I.P. pads 'crack' early on -

Instruments -- the Camaro is a high performance car -- the last thing anyone needs is to have someone behind the wheel of a high performance car -- and have them 'monkeying around' with buttons and knobs and anything that takes your attention AWAY FROM THE ROAD.......

Go look very closely at the I.P. and the knobs and buttons on the new Camaro.......

The radio -- notice that it's very much like Radios from years ago -- two knobs -- one controls on/off and volume -- the other allows you to 'tune' a station - and then there are pre-set buttons -- all very intuitive and you don't have to take your eyes off the road in order to adjust.......
(you DO if you want to go into the many menus -- please pull off the road to do so......)

The HVAC -- it takes a couple of minutes to learn each button - but once you do, it's second nature --

Notice the steering wheel controls - esp. on the 2LT and 2SS -- again - designed to keep your eyes on the road.

One thing that we tried to keep in mind with Camaro -- and it was something that caused quite a stir in many meetings: More is sometimes less......

One thing I will agree on is the climate control...... dual zone climate control should be standard on 2LT and 2SS without increasing the prices or decreasing performance/handling/quality/other content.

Everything else you mention can be made optional if people want it, but I think so few would in relation to those produced that it would begin to affect quality control with the whole "more options" thing.

it would also take more time to build and in the long it would probably cost GM more money, causing them to charge too much for these options..making them pointless

Meh. I have the climate control feature in my G35 and, frankly, I hate it. I'm probably in the minority, but I much prefer the A/C that makes you feel out what's the right setting for you, rather than setting it to a given temperature.

If my car's accurate, my favorite driving cabin temperature is close to 80 degrees.
