Pretty good price, I think it came to $735 total, shipped. I included the edelbrock x-pipe and it came to $825. All with the %5 discount. Wonder if these headers compare to the Stainless Power. Which one puts down more power, if any. Do they install well with no problems? As you can see I have a hard time making decisions, cheap or expensive. I've also had an offer at $825 for Stainless Power w/ cats and a magnaflow x-pipe, shipped. Which is the better deal? I seen the Janetty review for the SP and they compared well with the SW.

Something else to consider may be the way the headers connect .....i think the tsp's have a slip fit and the obx's are flanged with spring tensioners

I personally cant say which is better, but i just wanted to throw that out there as it may matter to some people

All of the 1 7/8" headers are basically going to put down the same power within a couple HP. And you'll never feel a couple HP nor will a couple HP win you a race. So unless you are trying to win the the dyno numbers game....which a dyno operator can make your dyno sheet show different HP readings based on some computer settings....just pick a header that you feel comfortable with and is in your budget.

I see you worry about which header weighs the least and which header make more HP etc. You're worrying too much about the little stuff that in reality isn't going to really make any difference.

I'm running 1 3/4" headers which everyone seems to look down upon but the bottom line is that my car sounds just as good as one with 1 7/8" and at the race track I beat other Camaros with 1 7/8" (because I have focused on suspension as well and they have not). On paper my car put down a few less HP than the average with 1 7/8" but at the end of the day my car sounds and performs as good as one with 1 7/8".

Now, if you're planning on going forced induction or monster cam or something then yeah, make sure you have the biggest header. In that case you need to look at 2" and not bother even with 1 7/8".

There are so many other factors that go in to racing and/or dyno numbers it's not worth stressing over the little stuff. Choose a brand and look to see who can give you the best deal on that brand and get them on your car.

We removed the stock exhaust up to the sleeve coupling. I have the "no cat" pipes in right now. I will probably get some high flow cats soon though.
I didn't see an OBX system with the hfc's on the site I purchased through, although I have seen them on others. I'm thinking I will get name brand cats to go with this setup eventually. I'm actually surprised at how much louder the exhaust is with the stock catback.

Oh and they were $379 shipped
