Keep positive! cause to me I come to this forum as a fan to educate myself, learn and share info with others who share the same passion for the Camaro as I do!

I am so excited for the opportunity to be able to own such a sports car and as impatient as I am, I am willing to wait until you guys get it right before sending my baby to me... Because as proud as you guys are at building these, I will be as proud to own the ZL1!

thanks for your thoughts - I've been coming to the Camaro enthusiast sites since the 90s - even when we weren't supposed to be doing that early on......

I know that most people are glad that Super60 and Becky and a few others and myself are on this site.....and I know that most are very loyal customers and good people.

I AM starting to feel more and more 'defensive' (although I'm not sure that's the word I'd choose) -- simply because I'll post something and suddenly someone will start to assume something that's completely false. Further, I walk a fine line trying to keep you, the enthusiast informed as best as I'm able to - and to educate so that you'll have a better understanding of this very very complicated business of designing, engineering, building and selling the world's best cars and trucks.......and invariably I get someone within GM upset or someone (plural sometimes) on the site will misinterpret something......and all heck breaks loose..........

It's not an easy thing to do -- (trying to answer questions and educate) ... but I do it because I remember as a young man of wanting to know EVERY LAST THING about the car business.....and I know that there are many more out there just like I was (and still am) !

So - every now and then, Good 'ol Uncle Fbodfather sometimes loses his patience and posts something that's a *bit grouchy*.........

Sorry. I hate being human!

Scott, I want to thank you and the rest of your team for keeping us updated on the status of the ZL1s. It wasn't too long ago when you ordered a car and just had to patiently wait for it to arrive with little or no updates on its status. Today everybody is almost codependent on information. It sounds like everything is on schedule and the cars will ship within a couple of weeks. Then everybody is going to wonder why the railcar or truck hasn't arrived.

Ok, ok, I apologize for yesterday and my being overzealous, this is my first order and track so this is all new to me. I found out yesterday I moved to 4800 so I got amped. Geez can't a guy lose it every once in a while. Thanks F-bod for the grounding. For those of you saying be patient you have probably been through this before so cut me some slack. I will sit back and wait.

Sounds familiar...

I will say, with the microwave there is a countdown so you KNOW when it will end.... It reminds me more of the baby boy we just had... you have no clue "when" hes coming... you just know that EVENTUALLY he is and you know what.... he's PERFECT. Its ok he was a week late, that extra time may have been need to make him so perfect.

Please go back and read an earlier post I made in this thread...........

THERE IS NO ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM -

THERE IS ALWAYS A DELAY IN SHIPPING CARS ONCE WE START A NEW MODEL.

Now - I don't mean to belittle anyone - but please - we've been very forthright in all of our communications to the dealers and to those on this site- (and those messages have been posted on this site) that we would be most likely shipping cars in late February or early March.

it is not late February or early March yet.
Give it up bud....

When you had more hair.... Pre-GM is my guess. from

To make you all feel better, #230 was built on March 17th 2009, she was in my hands on May 5th 2009. QC she and the first 2500 sat in for that long.

They will get to you, it will just be a while. Also they stated when they started building the cars they would be at dealers in March for the ZL1. Last time I looked at my calendar it is not March.

He was never PRE GM. He was born GM and that's why he had no hair at birth too.

Now I feel really bad about pestering you. If I get mine before you get yours, you can drive my ZL1 all you want.

Slack cut!

We know how anxious you are to get behind the wheel - and we know how each day seems to drag out -- and believe it or not, WE'RE anxious for you to get behind the wheel....for many reasons. First and foremost - we want to see your "Ultra-Grin" -- but just as importantly - we think those of you who get one of these legendary Camaros are simply going to be blown away as you drive them in all kinds of conditions -

It will be well worth the wait........and all I can do is ask you to once again trust me - .......

Wow, honestly I would have thought you would have been one of the first to receive a CTF ZL1. You have been able to drive them for short periods of time but to be able to touch but not be keep one has got to be very hard also. I truly hope you get yours soon. Thanks again for all that you do for all of us.
