My Grandad

Good choice going with a new 2010. I also had a 94 and loved it. From everything I've read, the 2010 it 100% better in almost everyway compared to the 94. Don't think either one of us will be dissapointed by this car.

Be careful. Especially if you drive like my grandfather. Pedal to the Metal all the time. He has a CTS and I remain scared to death the cruise around with him.

Good luck, post pics when you can.

Thought?

You're 71 and you'll be the envy of every 18 yo out there. Gotta feel good about that.

Too Old...

When you get all those stares and questions just let them know you're going through your mid-life crisis... I wouldn't even have to think twice about what I drive when im 71. By that time as I do now I don't really care what strangers think. Just my thoughts

I saw a guy who appeared to me around 70 in a Corvette today and a new bad ass Corvette at that. The first thing I thought was, that dude is awesome. You're as young as you want to be.

Age is irrelevant when appreciating a car as fine as the 5th gen, go for it, make it an SS.

If you can get in and out of it without hating it, you can see out of it well enough to fit your comfort level, how would it be any different from any other car purchase you've ever made? If its what you want, spoil your self. You've earned it.

Old as you feel

I am 53 and have owned several camaro's in my life, and I will own this one, I feel if you love it, then buy it, no matter what your age. Stay young and stay young as you feel........

As a youngster who will be 67 in two months, and who has a 2SS/RS on order, I'd say go for it You'll only be old when you start acting old, and we're both far too young to do that. Enjoy. I have a good friend my age here in town who's also ordered one. Hell, between the two of us we're 132!

BTW, I had a '94 Z28 ... loved it.
