Had a Pontiac long, long ago. It's a damn shame the brand is over. I pray that this economy turns around and people start buying cars again. This is America and we LOVE our cars---so you know times ar tuff when we aren't buying what we love.

Look at the Saturn Outlook, GMC Arcadia, Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave all are unique... there is plenty of costs involved...

They did the right thing..
GMC- Work Trucks/ HD stuff
Chevrolet - Everyday working mans stuff
Buick- Mid Level Luxury
Cadillac- Luxury (hopefully they stop the rental fleets, so they can retain value)

As far as the jobs lost it's very sad and I wish the best for all of the workers I. The future. But Pontiac never did it for me.

yeahh, so that car wont get canceled.
but, after all the money they put into the solstice coupe, they are going to kill it before they have a chance to make any of the money back? but i guess they werent really ALL that close to mass production, were they?

Sky and g8 should be saved for sure. Hopefully we'll see future versions with our bowtie on them.
