I test drove one of the SS's that was in the Dallas motorcade thing and all that yesterday, so I stopped at a dealership a lot closer to my house to see if I could get two test drives in a day, but that was a no go, this is roughly what I was told:

"Yeah, we got one, but it's sitting in our owner's garage until the May 6th or 8th or something's unveiling. The dealerships signed a contract saying they wouldn't show them until then. I know some dealerships are showing them off now, but we aren't going to do that and risk losing our license over something stupid."

Anyone else get anything remotely like this from anyone? That's one lucky dealership owner!

I was told tonight that EVERY dealer in Cali was supposed to have 2 cars, 1 LT and 1 SS that were for test drives only. Unfortunately, only 2 dealerships have gotten 1 car near me due to the shipping problems. Depending on where in SoCal you are, there is one in Lake Elsinore (RY 2LT) and the same thing at Singh in Riverside.

I'm not sure if Lake Elsinore has theirs under cover, but Singh did not.

Tell that dealer he's being a complete DUMB ASS. Then tell him you're going to search for other dealers with the Camaro and go to them instead to buy yours. Then tell him about Camaro5.com so he can read about what a dumb-ass he is.
