I started out with a Camaro when I was 22 and now I am getting the New 2010 Chevrolet Camaro when I am almost 65. So I repeat what others have said Invest in a Camaro and stay young at heart. I know I will and I hope to be still driving mine when I reach 71.

Why the hell not?

When im 71 I want my flying hovercraft to be just as bad ass as anyone elses.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Just because your 71 doesn't make you old! That makes you wise You get your car and enjoy it, and when your pulling off the lot with her crank up the radio while listening to Bad to the Bone. That's what my six year old son told me were are gonna be listening to. Keep us informed.

All opinions welcomed.

I am going to be 67 in a few months & I have a 09 ZR1 , 08 Viper ACR & I have a CGM 2010 Camaro SS/RS 6M on order & I plan to be driving all 3 when I am 71 So I would GO FOR It. You can always blame it on your "LAST QUARTER CENTURY CRISIS".

I am 55 and after owning "family cars" for many years I bought my 2000 SS vert 9 years ago and have had a great time with it and the Camaro community ever since. I have made some great freinds, been to some great events, had some great races at the track (and broke a few parts doing it), and get a thrill when I wind through the gears and when kids yell "nice car" as I cruise by.

Good old American muscle is part of our culture and has been a big part of many of our lives. The fact that it is still around for us to experience and enjoy in a car like this is a real "gift" (thanks to Scott and the team) and one which I don't plan to pass up.

I am so looking forward to getting a convertible when they come out and in the meantime I am having fun seeing the joy of the new owners here as they pick up their cars.

When you can no longer drive at all - that's when you're too old to drive a Camaro - you may still want to buy one though and just look at it in the garage!

Wow! OK! You folks are difinitely encouraging me. Just be careful though. Sometimes there's "WOH" - (wife overhead) as I share these with her. Not sure she likes the possibility of "picking up hotties." We are both getting a big kick out of your replies.
Even dreamed about the 2010 last night!

Nusong, the last time I checked there was no age restrictions on having fun... you should definitely GO FOR IT!

However, the wife may require you to carry one of these at all times while driving the Maro in order to keep the young Thangs at bay
