Does anybody know if they make a LED light strip that is red i could put into the doors and dash on mine. i am looking and can't find anything.

The LED strip I have on my mail slot is 22" and about cm think. I think you are talking about a thin strip, I have seen strips like that on a door and dash mod thread, but it's been a year or so.

i am trying to figure out the ambient light that we have in the doors but change that to a red color and a red light on the dash trim too. if i can't find anything i would like to changed the door trim pieces to red. I am also tryin to find where i can buy the color shift halo. Do you know if i can buy a complete set that i can just change out my assembly or is it something that i have to open the housing for the halos and change that out?

What color are your door panels? If they're white or grey, the only thing you should have to change is one light source in each door. Part# 92228416 is what is used in the IOM, but the light description is "red". It's the IOM door panel that makes them orange. They're listed on GMpartsdirect.com for $10.16 each.

For the dash, you would need three more of these lights sources, plus the fiber optic light pipe from Opher (2SSRS) on Camaro5.com.

I would suggest swapping out the door lights first to see if it's what you're looking for. If not, you're only out $20, and I'd buy them from you if you don't want them. Then you can add the dash kit. By then, they may have the new smaller, flexible light pipe.

All of this is fairly easy, but frightening as you try to pull apart the trim pieces and door panels.

As for the halos, I've been told that they may change from white to red simply by changing the polarity of the LEDs...

Hey guys thinking about selling my stock cat-back after installing my Magnaflow 16483. Anyone on here have any luck selling theirs or know anyone interested? I might want to keep it but would have to cut it to fit it in the garage.

They're hard to sell right now. Once stock systems start to fail or wear out, the value will go up. The dealership wants over $1,800 to replace one. There are a half-dozen on Ebay now, asking anywhere from $150 to $600.

Well I went to Discount Muffler near Ina and Oldfather to have my HF cats welded in and Id definitely recommend em to anyone looking for an exhaust shop on the NW side. real nice folks, easy to work with, and my exhaust looks and works great!

Nope sorry, I havent driven her too much in a while, just to the shop for an alignment and out to Madera Canyon and back to play with the new springs.
