I trade off between a 2011 Equinox and a 2004 Silverado 2500HD. The Camaros stay in the garage except for nice weekends in the summer.

Spring/Summer/Fall: Girlfriend has a 2006 Scion tC and I have a 2012 Camaro...so we'll switch off back and forward each day since we both work at the same company.
Winter: She will drive her Scion and I'll drive my 1991 Accord (I know..sad..the car is only 4 years younger than me haha) while the Camaro sits in a garage under a car cover.

I agree as well. The amount of money many people burn on the little things adds up to thousands of dollars a year. There's no halfway with this either, because you eventually get so comfortable with burning cash on that stuff that you dont even notice you're spending an extra $20 every couple of days. For me its the eating out that's gotta stop. I manage because I don't own a house and rent is cheap. I should add that my Camaro is my DD, winter tires and rims for 5 months of the year. |

My DD is a 4Runner, and I a 98 Silverado 1500 with low miles as a back up. I have a job in sales so I travel about 600-800 miles a week. I get a car allowance and mileage, but I rat hole that money and continue driving a clapped out Toyota everyday. I wore out 3 new trucks in the last 10 years with all my traveling. After that, I will probably no longer buy something new just to destroy it for a job I hate.

with 5 vehicles its kinda hard to term any of them as daily drivers. but the 96 Ram 4x4 and the 07 Mustang get the most use.
78 Trans Am = 82k 80 Corvette = 84k 96 Ram 4x4 = 160k 07 Mustang = 51k 10 Camaro = 6k so by milage I would say the Ram is the daily driver. |

I completely agree with this. If you buy a piece of crap to drive daily, then every day you are driving a piece of crap. I'd rather drive a Camaro every day. When I wear it out I'll buy a new one and this one will go to my kids or be a project car. Life is short, enjoy it while you can.
