BFG g-Force COMP2 Tires coming to Camaro
I just read that the BF Goodrich g-Force Sport COMP2 Tires are going to be available soon for the Camaro in the stock 20" size. It looks like it might be a promising option for people looking for a Summer tire with a better than Pirelli tread wear rating.

I wish BFG would come out with the g-Force T/A KDW 2 in the stock 20" size!

Damn second quarter. I can't make my rears last that long, already at 3/32. I'll be getting a set of these likely in the future though. Been waiting for BFG to come out with something in our sizes.

Comp2 vs KDW
I read this quote in Motor Trend's review of these new Comp2 tires: "The KDW is also outperformed by the Comp-2 in BFG's testing, with the new tire displaying better grip and ride characteristics."
Sounds like they will outperform the KDW. The article also said the KDW sizes will be cut back some for 2012: "But the radically tread-patterned performance tire will be scaled back in 2012, covering fewer sizes." The KDW looks awesome though. Read the article here: http://www.motortrend.com/features/c...#ixzz1n2IJzih3

I've actually ran the KDW and the G-Force sport before in my previous car. I know that these are the COMP2, but if they are anything like the G-Force sport, they aren't anything to write home about. Also I ran the KDW for about 40k miles and they performed alright. The sidewalls on those tires just aren't stiff enough and you feel it in the corners. To be honest, the tire is average at everything but excels at nothing. Just my 2 cents.
