And that's a lot of air!! What's the wheel gap on that? Would we still measure from the fender lip to the bottom of the wheel? Or do you measure to the ground?

Man...almost three pages since you posted you were getting rid of your sweet Savinis.
 I definitely wouldn't recommend going to a taller tire to fill the well. It throws off your speedometer, odometer and I've heard can even mess with things like traction control. Man up and just buy some coilovers.
