Alcantara Steering Wheel
Has anyone tried this?
Here's a pretty nice DIY... http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=570659 Edit: Looks like the OP from that thread started his own business and wraps wheels for 175-190 bucks. For that price I would love to get this done. http://cobywheel.com/index.php/photo-gallery

83 views and no interest? I spoke to Coby and he can do my wheel. Would you guys be interested in something like this?

Crappy? Look here.. http://cobywheel.com/index.php/photo-gallery Nothing cheap about it. Its Alcantara the stuff sells for over 100 dollars a yard. Hand stitched onto the wheel.
The CTS-V and ZL1 have Alcantara covered wheels.

I would be down if he removed the leather first. This looks like it would be too bulky afterward.

+1 if the leather was not removed it would look bad IMO. Those pics in the second link do look good though.
