Update for Spike and DMGINC on the hood project: - The guy on Long Island I have been trying to buy the hood from still hasn't gotten back to me with direct contact or payment information, so I may have to get one somewhere else. I'm doing the project regardless and there are plently of hoods around, it just may take a little longer since I'll have to find the next best one and then probably get it painted.

I can't really understand why he hasn't responded with the details needed to complete the deal since I've agreed to pay his original asking price and he would not have to ship

haha thanks spike! I made the call to GM customer service today and emailed Larry from GM connects. I want some answers to why my order has not been picked up yet for production, I'd ask my dealer but he doesn't have a Fn' clue. I think Becky D should have gotten a real low vin # ZL1 because she does so much, just go's to show how convoluted GM's ordering system is...

Just got a call back from GM customer service, I was told my car will be built the last week or march or the first week of April. I'll believe it when I see it!

Anyone know of a reasonable shop in CNY that will install lowering coils? I was quoted 500.00 for an install at one shop + 300 for alignment.

Looking for a bit less :p

I know its supposed to be a relatively easy DIY but I don't have the appropriate tools, nor have I ever really done anything too mechanical besides watching IRONWILL put on my CAI.

I talked to a friend about the alignment, got me a sweet deal. Now for an installer. Will is probably busy putting his IOM back together, can't wait to see what he's got happening on that bad boy. The vid he posted last week was so killer.
