If you read his post very carefully you'll notice it says "If money is not an issue, have the pros do it. It will be a 100k car."
It does NOT say "The only way you will make your car a 10 sec car is if you spend 100k" Notice the difference? Which engine does your 1968 have in it? |

WTF dude, stop smoking and start reading. I am becoming convinced no one reads the thread. He said "MONEY IS NOT A FACTOR" HERE IS THE ORIGINAL POSTERS QUOTE FROM PAGE ONE: "money is not a factor Im gonna inherit a couple million from my grandparents I plan on letting pros do it even though Im nearly capable of doing it myself" I KNOW IT DOES NOT TAKE 100K TO DO 10 SECONDS. I gave him some links of 100K 10 second cars, because "MONEY IS NOT A FACTOR". I know you can find/build low priced 10 second Camaros and Mustangs for dirt cheap. But the original poster wanted a new 10 second Camaro, and wanted to have the "pros do it". Read more; post less. |

I am in complete agreement with you, it does not cost 100K to be in the 10's. If the poster wanted to know the best/easiest/cost effective way to get into the 10s, you and LSXJunkie all have great ideas. |
