Well, if I got to do something with a "very special automobile", I would have... probably been chased by the police, and when they finally caught up to me, I would do the good citizen thing, and pulled over. But still, it would have been a thrilling ride! Hopefully I would be caught by an equivalent Camaro...er "special automobile" lover like Tag!

Methinks someone was out playing around at the Milford Proving Grounds today.

Here's a request. You can't show us anything or really talk about it right now....but please tell me someone is taking pictures and documenting days like today for an eventual magazine article or web page chronicling the development of the car.

"All Corvettes are Red" was a great book. While I doubt GM has a book like that in the works for the Camaro, I really hope we can at least get a couple web pages when this is all over. It was absolutely fascinating to 'watch' a car go from concept to production from inside the company through the author's eyes in the Vette book.

What an excellent idea. I write books so if you need help Fbodfather I am willing to volunteer my time to help anyway I can. I work best by really feeling my work. Maybe a little drive time could be in order for me to really feel the character.

What does that mean to us in time Scott? How long do we wait? Do you need any kind of help with the project? I'm not going to be able to sleep. My house is quiet and my mind is racing. I can't sleep!

SWEET!!! Can't wait to see whatever is coming down the pike re: development documentaries.

Also -- you guys know what this means: the car is "that" much closer to being in production. And......that's GREAT!!!

I CAN NOT wait.

I also can't wait to hear about all the anecdotal details of this car's production, once you can share them. Great times, great times.....

Seriously....if you guys haven't read "All Corvettes are Red", you should. It was a fascinating book, and it can give you a ton of insight on what's going on inside the Camaro project right now.

This also brings me to an interesting question. The Vette book ended with the car leaving the development phase and entering the production phase. They mentioned that the first cars off of an assembly line are typically white. But the first few C5 Corvettes were red.

So maybe Scott can tell us (if it has even been decided yet)...

What color will the first production Camaros be?
